Norway, birthplace of fools
The entire alphabet could be used to illustrate how Norwegian politicians turn Melkøya into a cash cow for the WEF and other globalists. We must indeed live in the birthplace of fools!

In their eagerness to appease the WEF and globalists who have fooled the entire world into believing that the planet is boiling, Norwegian politicians send hydropower and gas to Europe. The Norwegian state rakes in profits, but the Norwegian people pay dearly.
Let me limit myself to one example today (another can be found in the article "Some derogatory thoughts about Norway and Niger"), namely Melkøya. A new article will come in a day or two.
First, a few words about the title of this piece, which is inspired by a song that is hardly sung or heard anymore: "For Norge, Kiempers Fødeland" (For Norway, Birthland of Heroes), written by Johan Nordahl Brun in 1771.
Indeed, the song was originally written as a drinking song, titled "Norges Skaal" (Norway's Toast). Because it was perceived as a rebellious song against the Kingdom of Denmark-Norway (where Norway of course was the poor little brother), it was banned from being printed in Copenhagen in 17721.
The song gained status as Norway's unofficial national anthem, and Henrik Wergeland called it "the Norwegian Marseillaise". Let's take the first verse before we delve into today's misery:
Keyword: Snow White
The gas processed into LNG at Melkøya outside Hammerfest comes from the Snøhvit (Snow White) field, in the most gentle and "clean" way:
The Snøhvit field differs from most other oil and gas fields on the Norwegian continental shelf in several ways:
All equipment in the production facility at the field is placed on the seabed; no oil platforms or other structures are used on the surface. This allows trawlers to trawl over the installations.
The gas is brought onshore untreated through a pipeline.
Dissolved CO2 in the gas is separated, returned to the field, and injected into a reservoir.
Equinor has developed a proprietary process for LNG production in collaboration with Linde, called "Mixed Fluid Cascade."
Dedicated ships have been developed and built for the transportation of LNG from Melkøya to the market. (Wikipedia.no)
The facility is currently operated by the Melkøya gas power plant, which ensures that the facility delivers 6.5 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas per year. In addition, it produces LPG and condensate products.

But because (the majority of) Norwegian politicians – with suitcase carrier Jonas Gahr Støre2 at the forefront – have committed themselves to the Paris Agreement and want to appear as pure as snow to the globalist elite headquartered in Davos and on the New York Stock Exchange, they have in their wisdom folly decided that this gas power plant must be shut down. It emits approximately 900,000 tons of CO2 annually. Therefore, the authorities will close the gas power plant and electrify the entire facility by carpet-bombing one of Europe's largest and most pristine natural areas (Finnmarksvidda) with wind power installations.
In Finnmark, the decisive battle over four large wind power installations, which according to the government's power boost, are intended to supply, among other things, Melkøya with electricity from the mainland, is soon to take place. One of the owners of the largest wind power installation, Davvi, Harald Dirdal of Ny Energi, recently told the newspaper Klassekampen that they must obtain a concession within six months. If not, it would be a breach of promise from the government, and Northern Norway will be plunged into a power crisis. It has been established that the electrification of Melkøya has no positive impact on global greenhouse gas emissions. The plans only mean that the nature of Finnmark will be destroyed to provide electricity for transporting the gas out of the country. (Motvind)
It’s easy to overlook important elements in a longish text, thus allow me to repeat the last sentence once more:
"The plans only mean that the nature of Finnmark will be destroyed to provide electricity for transporting the gas out of the country."
You read correctly, but since people in this cold country far to the North seem to be frozen in their belief in ignorant politicians who do not have the people's best interests at heart, unfortunately, this truth has not yet dawned on the people.
Let me put it another way:
Norway wants to appear as clean and adept globalists; they want to be as pure as snow. Therefore, Norwegian authorities do not want to use (read: burn) Norwegian gas to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) for use in Europe, which, with American help, has cut off Russian gas and has also decided that fossil energy is terrible and dangerous.
So instead of the gas ensuring this flow of gas to Europe, Finnmarksvidda will be destroyed with wind power, and the gas that Norway doesn't want to burn will be exported to Germany to be burned there!
...if developers and all other companies that have applied for a concession in Finnmark get their way, large parts of East Finnmark's nature will be transformed into an unrecognizable industrial area. According to Sami understanding of nature, it will probably be the closest they come to hell. (Motvind)
May those who have come up with this burn in hell!

The expression “suitcase carrier” stems from Støre’s time as Gro Harlem Brundtland’s golden boy. A more thorough explanation may be found on Wikipedia: “Støre grew up in West End Oslo and is a multimillionaire. He underwent naval officer training at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and then studied political science at Sciences Po in Paris from 1981 to 1985. Originally associated with the Conservative Party, he was a career special adviser and director-general in the Prime Minister's Office from 1989 to 1997, serving under prime ministers Jan Syse, Gro Harlem Brundtland, and Thorbjørn Jagland. He became known as a protégé of Brundtland in the 1990s, and her mentorship inspired him to become a member of the Labour Party in 1995. In 1998, he followed Brundtland to the World Health Organization, where he became her chief of staff. Støre was State Secretary and Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister's Office in the first government of Jens Stoltenberg; the government was inspired by New Labour and oversaw the most widespread privatization in Norwegian history.”
